What if I don’t want to enter my credit card information online?

All order information you provide to us and all information contained in your “Shopper Account” is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a widely used coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt or scramble data before you send it to us. Only authorized personnel from WeddingChannel.com or Bloomingdale’s can decode this information and such personnel will only do so in accordance with the WeddingChannel.com Privacy Policy. In addition, to attempt to deter the theft of credit card numbers and other personal information residing in our system, we and our retail partners have installed secure “firewalls” and/or have implemented other security measures to help protect our systems against “hacker” break-ins. Additionally, all credit card numbers are encrypted in our system until either the customer or WeddingChannel.com requires the information.

You can tell that your connection is secure when you have an unbroken key or closed lock at the bottom left corner of your browser. Also, the URL address window at the top of your browser will begin with “https” rather than “http” to indicate that you are using a secure server. If you prefer not to enter your credit card information online, you can phone or fax in your order. Call the toll-free ordering line, 1-888-269-3187. Our toll-free line is staffed from Mon-Sat, 10am-10pm EST and Sun, 12pm-9pm EST, or you can fax your order to 1-800-727-6229.

The average turn-around time for filling an order of in stock items is 2 business days, not including shipping time. For UPS Ground, please allow an additional five to seven business days to receive your shipment. Also, please allow adequate time for deliveries sent to a P.O. Box address as these must be sent via US postal service and commonly take four to six weeks for delivery. We will notify you via e-mail about the status of your order and will include information on how to track delivery of your package.

When does my credit card get charged?

Your credit card will not be charged until items in your order have been shipped. You will get an e-mail from us notifying you of your shipments.
