Polaris by Orrefors
A few years ago Orrefors introduced POLARIS, a series of votives that enjoyed enormous success the world over. Now, with his innate sense of design, Martti Rytkönen has expanded the POLARIS collection by the addition of bowls and vases inspired by the motion of a wave frozen in the ice of the polar seas. The clear crystal is set off to perfection, the vases looming tall like magnificent ice sculptures, the generous, open bowls evocative of the meeting between ice and open water far north of the Arctic Circle.
